>> A Brief Guide
to General Terms and Abbreviations
** Please contact us with
any other questions you have. |
1.
Selling retail or to the general public
We only sell to
businesses that present us with a valid Resale
Certificate or Wholesale Business
Tax ID Number from New York State. For
those outside of New York State, including international
buyers, we need to see an equivalent document,
such as a Seller’s Permit
or Sales Tax License issued by
the state where the business is located or another
form of proof of the business license/jewelry-related
business status.
For international buyers: please provide anything
that shows your jewelry-related business status,
such as a print invoice showing your business
name, phone number, and address, or an official
Business License or Certificate, etc.
We do not sell retail or to the general public,
due to our Wholesale Only policy. However, you
can ask about us and find our products at your
local retail jewelry stores.

2.
Resale Certificates and Tax ID Numbers
A Resale
Certificate certifies that all your purchase
from us is for resale, not for retail. It is required
by the state for all purchase-for-resale transactions.
With this Certificate in our file, there will
be no sales tax on your purchases.
TheTax ID Number is an Employer Identification
number (EIN), also known as a federal
tax identification number, issued by
the Internal Revenue Service
and is used to identify a business entity for
federal income tax purposes.
An EIN is a nine-digit number (for example, 12-3456789)
assigned to sole proprietors, corporations, partnerships,
estates, trusts, and other entities for tax filing
and reporting purposes. |

Carrying the Same Products as the Ones Shown on the
Website
We
do not always carry the same products as the ones
shown on the website. As our stock depends on
market demand and material supply, we cannot guarantee
the availability of any given item. However, we
will try our best to carry popular and regular
items at all times. For verification, please contact
us and check if we currently have an item in stock. |
|
|
4.
Finding the Same Item Ordered Before
If
you cannot find a particular item that you've
previously seen on this website, this most likely
means that we are temporarily out of stock
or have discontinued carrying this item.
Please contact
us to confirm the availability of
the item, and to consult for a substitute that
matches best. |
|
|
5. Print
Catalogues and Price Lists
| We no longer
publish print catalogues and price lists.
Please use our online
catalogue on this website for all product
and company information. |
|
|
6. Quality
of Website Photographs
| We cannot
guarantee 100% accuracy and reliability
in the use of website photographs to assess the
quality of our merchandise. The photographs displayed
are to provide an idea of various items' appearances. |
|
|
7. Where the
Stones Come From
| We are unable to and
therefore cannot be held responsible for providing
the background and origin of every single one of
our items. Depending on information provided by
our sources, we can occasionally disclose the backgrounds
of some of our stones. |
|
|
8.
Length and Number of Pieces in a Typical Strand
| Generally, all of
our strands for beads, pearls, or corals are approximately
16 inches long. Once in a while,
we also carry strands approximately 8 inches
and 36 inches long. If a particular
strand is of a special length, we will specifically
indicate its dimensions on the website. |
|
|
9.
Item Dimensions and Measurements
We catalog
all product sizes through a system stated in millimeters
of Weight x Length x Thickness. We provide our customers
an average measurement based on the 4x and 10x-12x
system.
We also use the following size descriptions to further
classify our merchandise: Uniform Size-
A strand in which all the pieces are exactly the
same size. We will provide the uniform measurement
for all these beads. Size-Varying-
A strand in which the pieces are all close in size,
but have small margins of difference. We will provide
the range of measurements that these beads fall
within. Size-Graduated- A
strand that is arranged from smallest to largest
piece. We will provide the measurements ranging
from the smallest to largest size of all these beads.
Size-Irregular- A strand in which
each piece may vary in shape, color, and/or size.
We will provide the measurements of the smallest
to largest sizes of these beads. |
|
|
10. Do you
issue credit for unusable beads?
Every
once in a while, there are pieces in a strand that
are not usable for various reasons. Since the wholesale
price denotes the value of an entire strand, not
each single piece, we do not issue
credit for those unusable pieces within strands.
However, if the quality of the entire strand does
not meet your satisfaction, you can return
the whole strand in its original condition for a
full refund. We do not issue refunds for partial
strands or strands not in their original conditions.
|
|
|
11. Do you
hold or reserve merchandise for customers?
| We cannot
hold or reserve any items for customers. Those customers
who arrive earliest have first choice of the merchandise.
We sell to the first customers who place an order
for immediate delivery. |

Discount Policy: Quantity and Volume
| Discount
Policy: Based on Purchase Quantity Quantity
Discount Rates
10% off on assorted purchases over $200
15% off on assorted purchases over $500
20% off on assorted purchases over $1,000
25% off on assorted purchases over $3,000
We do not have a pre-set discount for orders
over $2,500. We’ll review such orders on
a case-by-case basis and try to provide you with
the most appropriate discount rate. In general,
any large quantity orders- a purchase of at least
10 strands per item- will be eligible for higher
discount rates than orders that purchase a single
strand for each different item.
For example, if you order 1 strand each for 100
different items, you will be eligible for our
pre-set, standard discount rate of up to 20% off.
However, if you order 100 strands for 1 item and
can accept a wide range of color and size variations
within that order, you will be eligible for a
higher discount rate than the pre-set, standard
one.

possible whether or not to keep your purchase. |
| Return within 30 days: |

after you have received it, we will issue
a refund, but with an additional 10%
re-stocking fee. |
| Return within 60 days: |

Return Authorization: Please

your Return Authorization Number
before sending any merchandise back. When contacting
us, please provide the order’s original

would like to return, and the reason for this
return (to help us continue improving our services.)
We will then issue a Return Authorization Number
via email, fax, or telephone.
All merchandise must be returned in its
original condition. Partial, loosened,
damaged, or worn strand are not acceptable.
Return Shipping Carriers: We recommend that you
return merchandise in safe and sturdy packaging
(not a regular business letter envelope) via a
carrier with a reliable tracking system, such
as UPS.
As stated above, we will not reimburse
return shipping fees nor original shipping costs
even if clients claim that the received merchandise
does not meet their quality requirements or their
expectations based on web site images.
Quantity Discount Adjustments: If a returned order
affects our policy’s quantity discount rate
on the original invoice, we will then revise the
discount accordingly and deduct the discount difference
from the refund.
To avoid possible mistakes, we strongly recommend
that you place your order via fax or email,
rather than through telephone. Please write down
the item number, description, and price on your
order.
All exchanges are considered
returns, followed by a new, separate order. All
Exchange Request items will apply under the Return
Policy. Shipping charges will be added to every
outgoing exchange shipment. |
